Two and a half years after I was initially scheduled to attend the Vermont Studio Center as a Ford Family Foundation Fellow and Resident, I spent two much-needed and remarkable weeks reconnecting with the physical world and creating work informed by my experience of it. https://vermontstudiocenter.org/
One of the unique benefits of a VSC residency, apart from the New England landscape and generous facilities, is VSC's Visiting Artist Mentor Program. My session's visual arts mentor was Corin Hewitt and his insight during our studio visit together has me re-visioning the potential of my work.
Gratitude to the Vermont Studio Center and Oregon's Ford Family Foundation for the support of my practice.
